For those who haven't read 1984, room 101 is the room where your worst fear lies. In my room 101 there is surgery without anaetsthetic. what's in your room 101?

Post 2 by Nem (I just keep on posting!) on Monday, 23-Jan-2006 22:11:37

In my room 101 there is nothing, no sound, no movement, no light, nothing. The air is stale, and the ground is hard. The walls are slimy with condensation, and quite darkness is oppressive. The room is large, but not tall. I must crouch to walk or I must crawl. Everytime I move from the door it opens, but when I step towards it, the door closes.

In my Room 101, there's just me; no one else. I can have everything I want, but there is only me to enjoy it.

In my room 101, lies my fear of dying.

hmmm, that is a hard one, I guess it could be birds, I don't know what it is but I just don't like birds, maybe its cause they move quickly and fly and all that and I don't know where they are!

In room 101, there would be a never ending hole in which I am falling. Falling without landing. The cold air rushing past me. My flailing arms and legs trying to grab on to something. Anything to stop this never-ending terror. But there is nothing to grab. My mouth is wide open with a silent scream that fear has frozen on my lips! Oh when will this ever end?

*sexy*

I'd have to say my Room 101 would be being all alone with no contact from the outside world. My room is my own prision. I've never read 1984 but it sounds like a great novel.

Mine woud se me traped in bonds or something while people did something or people just rushing in and grabbing me so that I would have no control over what I do. I hate that. It's probabl more involved than that though.

Mine would be being suspended in a wide space and having no way to get to an edge. On land I don't mind being in open spaces so much, but being alone like that in air or water with nothing or hardly anything surrounding me really freaks me out.

In my room 101 would be a never-ending slide, as I hate them and am terrified of them. Can't imagine sliding down, down, down into the dark abyss, gradually picking up speed, going so fast I can't stop myself, and not knowing when it'll ever end. I guess it's really the idea of not being in control of the situation. I despise that feeling.

in my room 101 there would first of all be dogs. Big and small and very frisky. jumping up all over me and grabbing at my legs.

No ofence dog lovers and guide dog owners. I love quiet dogs who never jump, but I'm terrefied of frisky dogs regardless of size.

An other thing in my room 101 would be hights and pain.

Maria.

*HUGS* It's all right, Maria. Frisky dogs can be rather unpleasant ... I would know, I have one! LOL. He's quite a handful, but I'm working with him on calming down and stuff, so we'll see how that goes.

Its interesting that people have mainly focussed on their fears of being trapped, in open space, or being alone. In my room 101, I would have to put, and don't all laugh, seaweed. I am inexplicably phobic about it and won't go in the sea because of this. I will only ever walk on the beach with shoes on and even then if I step in seaweed I tense up.

well, in my room 101, there'd be bugs, like, bees and wasps, euwwwwwwww, i can't stand them, yuck, my worst fear is being trapped with them, with no way ever to get out, yuck, horrible.

Post 17 by guitargod1 (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Wednesday, 01-Mar-2006 11:10:16

In my room 101, there would be terrible things like snakes, needles, and, dentists. Then, worse things would happen like country music, a never ending Bush speech, tumbleweeds, d caff coffee, and the only instrument I'd have would be a guitar with no strings! AAaaaahhhhhhhh! Make it stop! ha!

In my room 101 there'd be loads and loads of these little green bugs like those terrible things from The X files, "when Darkness Falls" which'd just sting and bite me over and over and over again, just attacking me till they actually killed me like in that story and actually seal my lifeless body in this green, clammy slimy coccoon or sack! Uuuuuuuuu!(shivers at the thought of it) there'd be a collection of ruined Harry potter books, there'd be an image of the end of The Half-Blood Prince film where Dumbledore falls off the top of the astronomy tower and I'm crouching by his body instead of Harry, There'd be both my digital piano and guitar minus any sounds, instruments, keys or strings so I couldn't play them and wouldn't hear them and worst of all, Aled Jones minus his gorgeous and beautiful voice, paralysed with all my copies of his albums on CD lying in pieces around his body, all his music scores and other notes and the lyrics to his songs in shreds, all in a pool of blood.
